Our key projects

Discover how Uniper turns ambition into actions with its energy projects.

Projects

Securing Europe’s energy future

Uniper is investing €8 billion to transform its portfolio by the early 2030s and achieve carbon neutrality by 2040. Our strategy drives renewable energy, hydrogen development, and the phase-out of coal to create a CO₂-free future. In 2024 alone, we committed €0.5 billion, including €250 million to revitalize the Happurg pumped storage plant. These investments strengthen energy security, support industrial competitiveness, and advance decarbonization.
