Who we are looking for

We are looking for you if you have completed a Bachelor's or Master's degree and ideally have gained some practical experience in the form of relevant internships or working student activities.

The 18- / 24-month program based in Germany, with a combination of pre-defined and flexible stations, also gives you the opportunity to gain international experience and work in various business units. The program offers an in-depth insight into our business and enables you to explore and develop your competencies. You will have the chance to bring-in and enhance your social and collaborative skills. You will get personal mentoring and a buddy from day one to ensure you have the best possible foundation for the next step in your career at Uniper.

IT & Digital Track

Uniper’s IT department consists of international, multidisciplinary experts who create a diverse, inclusive, and friendly work culture. They enable remote work, manage data platforms, and develop innovative software solutions.

Business Analysis IT Trading

Trading & Commercial

Trading & Commercial is the dynamic center for energy trading and commercial optimization. This department is responsible for trading energy products, market analysis, and developing trading strategies to maximize economic success.

Application process

1. Online application: 
The first step is your online application via our career page. Here you can upload all relevant information about yourself: CV, cover letter, certificates and references.

2. Online test:
After reviewing your application documents, an initial selection of suitable applicants is made, who are invited to take an online test.

3. Virtual meeting:
In a next step, the shortlisted candidates will be invited to a virtual meeting with the HR department, where the trainee programme is presented and your initial questions are answered.

4. Aplication day on site: 
After a successful check, our selected candidates will receive an invitation to an application day on site.

5. Contract offer:
Successful candidates will then receive a contract offer.

6. Onboarding program:
You start your Traineeship with an individual onboarding program during which we introduce you to Uniper and provide you with all the information you need for an optimal start.
