Uniper provides both greener energy and reliable supply

Our goal is to lead the energy transition. We achieve this by delivering reliable, sustainable, and innovative energy solutions that contribute to a fossil-free future. Our strategy is based on four pillars: expert and authoritative, reliable, innovative, and socially conscious.

Our mission

Uniper aims for full carbon neutrality by 2040. We also want our generation portfolio (15-20 GW) to consist of 80% green energy by 2030. We are transforming our power plants, investing in flexible energy solutions, and expanding our hydropower, solar, and wind energy. Additionally, we are gradually transitioning to green gases such as hydrogen and biomethane.

As a reliable partner, Uniper supports communities and businesses in planning and implementing low-carbon solutions. We are also active worldwide in the hydrogen value chain.

Contribution to energy and climate policy

Everyone uses energy, whether at home or in a business process. Without energy, many processes in our daily lives come to a halt. The Dutch government has therefore designated energy production as part of the critical infrastructure.
