Uniper’s Renewable Power Generation in the Nordics
Uniper aims to grow its renewable power portfolio, with the ambition to develop 10 GW of wind and solar power to ready-to-build status by the early 2030s. To enable expansion in the Nordic region, Uniper is strengthening its Swedish team dedicated to the development of solar and wind power.

Renewable in the energy system
Hydrogen produced from renewable energy plays a key role in the green transition, especially for those sectors that cannot be electrified directly. As a company, we work hard to make the world more sustainable. To achieve this, we aim to be CO2 neutral by 2040. We will invest around 8 billion euros over the next ten-year period. In addition to our fossil-free hydro and nuclear power, we will invest in hydrogen and expand renewable energy. The energy system must both be reliable in supply, fossil-free and competitive in order for industry and society to continue to develop. Therefore, we support our customers and partners in their own carbon dioxide emissions through flexible and tailored energy solutions.
